We are delighted to announce that the 2024 Green Destinations Top 100 Stories competition has officially launched!
We are inviting you to join the 10th edition of the Top 100 competition and inspire other destinations, tour operators and travelers with your good practices! As a participant in the 2024 Top 100 competition you will be able to benefit from the following:
The Festival aims to promote business locally and is therefore developed at a local level in destinations, cities or regions. Each location will be able to choose the format that suits them best: Festival with an exhibition character, in the form of a competition or both.
In 2024 there will be local and national festivals. Those locations that opt for the competition model will have the opportunity to showcase the winning stories at travel fairs such as ITB and FITUR with support and promotion from our select media partners.
Majority of travelers are interested in sustainable travel offers. This competition will encourage businesses in our Good Travel Program to promote their good practices to travelers that is more exciting, every year!
With this global conference hosted by the 2023 European Green Capital of Tallinn, we have fostered connections among industry stakeholders in an incredible environment, while uncovering sustainable solutions and best practices for effectively managing tourism destinations. More than 55 speakers from all corners of the world have shared their expertise and insights, contributing to a wealth of knowledge that will shape the future of sustainable tourism. We thank everyone who has come together for a responsible and promising future of tourism.
The 2024 Green Destinations Story Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives for sustainable tourism development in 6 categories from submissions to the 2023 Green Destinations Top 100 Stories competition.
The Green Destinations Story Awards ceremony will take place at ITB Berlin 2024.
